Since 2013, David Iler has practiced as a self-employed massage therapist in Austin, Texas. He primarily works with runners in the area and offers his services to athletes in training, both before and after competitions. In addition, David Iler provides myofascial release treatment to his clients to help reduce muscle tightness and the risk of running-related injury. He networks throughout the local running clubs and race events.
Mr. Iler previously served as a massage therapist at Myo Massage in Austin. During his time with the company, he treated patients by utilizing a number of massage modalities, including sports, deep tissue, and Swedish massage.
In preparation for his career, David Iler fulfilled the requirements for his professional massage therapist license (LMT) at Everest College in San Bernardino, California. He completed the 700-hour intensive course with a 4.0 grade point average. Additionally, he holds membership with the American Massage Therapy Association and the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork.
